A living digital twin of Kosmos City—where research rooms, exhibitions, residencies, and learning spaces are always open. Collaborate in real time, publish living archives, and help shape humane technologies and cultures from anywhere.
Kosmos City Online
For institutions & brands: host research rooms, run distributed residencies, and publish results with rigor and credit.
For individuals: explore exhibitions, join workshops, and contribute to collective projects.
Kosmos City Online turns frontier research into shared experience and open knowledge. It mirrors the physical campus—labs, ateliers, gardens, and the Pavilion—so people and institutions can co-create across distance, time zones, and disciplines.
What It Is
The platform extends our core methodology—Investigation → Design → Implementation → Transmission—into a continuous online practice:

  • Investigate across regions with shared protocols and notes.
  • Design together in virtual studios and critique sessions.
  • Implement pilots on-site at the Park—and scale at RA88 (UAE) when ready.
  • Transmit results via exhibitions, teaching modules, and open tools.
Why It Exists
Research Rooms
Set up a room for a topic—future materials, quantum & consciousness, neuroscience, longevity, energy, sustainability, biotech, robotics, urban futures, mobility—with protocols, datasets, whiteboards, and review threads.
Output: methods, findings, and next steps (versioned).

Exhibitions & Installations
Curate digital-first works and Future World chapters, preview Pavilion pieces, and publish process notes.
Output: interactive exhibits + living catalogs.

Residencies & Studios
Run distributed artist–scientist residencies: pair creative practice with research; document the work as it evolves.
Output: artifacts, toolkits, and public talks.

Education & Schools
Host workshops, classroom modules, studio crits, and citizen-science programs.
Output: lesson plans, assignments, and reusable teaching packs.

Project Archives
Maintain “living” repositories of materials, methods, and results designed for citation and reuse.
Output: organized archives with DOIs/links (if desired).
What You Can Do
Who it’s for: museums & galleries, universities & labs, cultural districts & cities, tech & AI companies, materials & manufacturing leaders, space & aerospace teams, foundations & media.
For Partners
Ways to collaborate
  • Launch a Partner Room for your initiative or collection.
  • Co-curate a digital exhibition or Pavilion preview.
  • Run a residency or education program with our team.
  • Prototype tools and components that can later scale at RA88.
What you gain
  • Co-authorship & credit on outputs (papers, exhibits, toolkits).
  • Meaningful visibility tied to research and public benefit.
  • Prototype pipeline: online → Park labs/ateliers → RA88 scale-up.
  • Bioregional links: connect to materials, crafts, and communities.
Rooms
  • Each project lives in a room with tabs for Overview · Protocols · Workbench · Reviews · Archive. Rooms can be private, cohort-only, or public.

Roles
  • Host (institution or team), Contributors (researchers, artists, engineers), Guests (public/educators), Reviewers (advisors/ethics).

Openness Levels
  • Private (invite-only) → Cohort (restricted) → Public (open exhibitions, teaching packs). Choose per tab.

Workflow
  • Create room → 2. Run studies/residencies → 3. Publish interim notes → 4. Exhibit/Teach → 5. Bridge to on-site pilots → 6. Archive & Cite.
How It Works
Privacy by design: no sale of personal data; minimal collection; consent-based interactions.
Ethics & Data
Open knowledge: choose your openness; we support embargoes, staged releases, and public editions.
Attribution & provenance: clear crediting on contributions and citations.
  • Workshops, courses, and school modules
  • Living archives (versioned, citable)
  • Bridge to on-site labs and RA88 for scale-up
  • Research rooms with shared protocols and datasets
  • Digital exhibitions & Pavilion previews
  • Distributed residencies and studio crits
